About

My name is Lisa.  I’m a fifty-something wife and mother of two beautiful daughters and Nana to my granddaughters, Ayda and Cali.

I am a Florida native and grew up boating, fishing, air-boating, 4-wheeling and hanging out at the beach.  I now live in Tennessee and love the mountains and change of seasons. I have worked for the National Park Service for almost 20 years, which has afforded me quite an opportunity to see some beautiful places.

I’ve always loved to read and write and determined that this was the direction God was leading me in.  My prayer is that something I share might inspire or help someone else.  If I can make someone smile, make their day a little brighter or provide encouragement or advice to make life even a tiny bit easier, my goal will be accomplished.  My long-term goal is to write a book.  Hope you enjoy my blog!
